Booth Check: Feedback on Your Booth From a Photo
A second pair of eyes on your setup: snap the booth, get the three changes that will make the most shoppers stop.
Take one to four photos: the whole booth from the aisle about ten feet back, the table straight on, and a close-up of your signs and prices. Do it from your phone at the market, or upload photos on the website afterwards.
Every booth is scored one to five on the same eight things: whether it can be seen from ten feet, whether prices are clear, height and levels, full without clutter, whether it says what you sell, how open and inviting it is, light and color, and how easy it is to pay. Each score comes with a note on what it sees in your photos.
You get the three changes worth making first, each with why it matters and whether it's a quick fix, an evening's work or a bigger job — "raise the back row on two crates so it's at eye level" rather than "add height". And one thing the booth already does well.
Booth check is told what you sell and at what prices, whether the market is indoors, how that market went for you last time, and what your last check there said. So the advice is about your booth — "the $8 soaps have no price you can see" — not booths in general.
Checks are kept with each market. Check again next time and every score shows what changed since the last one, next to that market's sales and profit per hour.
