Inventory for Handmade Products
One count for each product at every place it sits: home, the shops that carry you, and the market table.
Add your locations — storage at home, a retail shop, a wholesale account, an online-only shelf — and each product variant keeps a count at each one, with its own price where you need it. The total is the sum of the places. Set a shop's count and, if you like, the difference comes out of your main stock, so moving stock out to a shop is one step.
The Today page lists products with three or fewer left. Ingredients and supplies each have their own low-stock point. Sales from the register, your website, Square and Shopify all take stock down as they come in.
The stock count page looks products up by barcode. Photograph a box and it estimates how many are in it for you to check and correct. Export the count as a PDF when you need it on paper.
Each location can be tied to a Square location, and you can mark a location as not for online sale so its stock isn't offered on Shopify. Push your catalog and counts to Square or Shopify from Mind the Booth, or pull an existing Square catalog in. Square sales and paid Shopify orders, refunds included, come back and take stock down, so the count you see is the count on the shelf.
