A Market Booth Register That Works Offline
Tap what sold, pick how they paid, done. It works in a field with no signal and catches up when you're back in range.
Open the Sell tab, tap the products that sold, change the count with plus and minus, pick cash, card, Venmo, Cash App, Zelle or check, and record it. That's the whole sale.
The register keeps working with no signal. Sales are saved on your phone and sent up the next time it connects, and a sale that's sent twice is only counted once. Your catalog, prices and stock come down with the same sync, so you can set up the night before and not think about it at the market.
Pick where you're selling — this market, your shop counter, or home stock — and each sale takes the items off that location's count. If a location has its own prices, the register uses them. The stock you see already counts the sales on your phone that haven't synced yet, so you know what's left on the table.
Today's sales shows the total, the number of sales and the split by payment method, including sales from a helper's phone once it syncs. Every paid sale also lands in your books as income, so tax time isn't a shoebox of notes.
Mind the Booth records card sales; it isn't a card reader. Use the Square app or reader you already have — connect Square and those sales come in by themselves, matched to your products. Or, on the web register with Stripe connected, show the buyer a QR code and they pay on their own phone. Sales tax isn't added at the register; prices are treated as tax-included, and the sales tax report works it out afterwards.
